Livestream workshop + Recording
Scoliosis, a lateral curvature of the spine, affects how we breathe, move, and hold ourselves in space. Whether you have structural scoliosis (congenital curvature) or functional scoliosis (developed from muscular imbalances, repetitive movements, or injury), the relationship between your breath and your spine is profound.
This workshop explores how pranayama practices can support spinal health and complement therapeutic yoga for back care. You’ll learn restorative and therapeutic poses that lengthen your spine, strengthen supporting muscles, derotate curvature, and create traction, while discovering breathing techniques that enhance body awareness, release chronic tension patterns, and calm your nervous system. The combination of mindful breath work and precise alignment creates deeper, more sustainable healing than either practice alone.
As a certified Yoga for Scoliosis specialist trained directly with Elise Miller, I bring both technical expertise and personal understanding to this work. My training included extensive study of spinal biomechanics plus a six-month hands-on practicum working privately with students managing scoliosis and chronic back pain.
This all-levels workshop welcomes anyone seeking to improve spinal health, reduce pain, or simply breathe and move with greater ease.
